Our Story

We are a Colombian family with decades of experience in coffee cultivation. 

We constantly improve, my grandfather changed grazing for agriculture, my father focused on technicalizing the processes and the quality of the grain, as well as leading the awareness of the care of water sources throughout the sector.

Now it’s my turn, I trained as a doctor, where I learned the healthy impact of coffee. 

My task was to switch to roasted coffee, get the best out of each cup by relying on professionals in the matter, evolve sustainable practices by applying RainForest guidelines and get in touch with you, a specialized consumer.

A New Vision

 My medical training gave me a unique perspective on coffee. I discovered the power of the antioxidants present in the bean and their positive impact on health. This revelation inspired me to take Aguabonita Coffee to a new level, focusing on the production of specialty coffees with exceptional flavor profiles and health benefits.

The Pursuit of Excellence: In 2018, we partnered with an expert cupper, embarking on a journey of experimentation and continuous improvement. Through meticulous processes and an unwavering passion for detail, we have achieved award-winning coffees with scores above 85 SCA points.
